    This track invites presentations and talks on solutions to extend connectivity to under served areas (connecting the unconnected) or to increase connectivity speeds in existing networks. Presentations can include talks on:

    • Small ISPs
    • Obtaining necessary licensing to operate networks,
    • Expanding terrestrial or submarine fibre
    • Satellite solutions and wireless based solutions.
  • Expanding Internet Infrastructure Resilience (IXPs, DCs, DNS, Power, Security)

    This track invites presentations and talks on critical infrastructure resilience including:

    • Internet Exchange Points,
    • Data Centers,
    • Adoption/expansion of IPv6,
    • The Domain Name System
    • Improving Cyber Security
    • Power solutions for the modern Kenyan ISP.
  • Resources to power local Artificial Intelligence

    This track invites presentations on local artificial intelligence solutions that provide entry points for private or public small and large language models. Talks/presentations should cover solutions and infrastructures necessary to run local Artificial Intelligence deployments.

  • Network Design and Operations (BGP, OSPF, Tools)

    This track invites talks on deployments, solutions and tips on how to operate various aspects of ISP networks including:

    • Tools (eg monitoring tools and traffic analysis tools)
    • BGP/OSPF at scale deployments
    • Building resilience in network design
  • Next Generation of Network Engineers (Skills, Career Paths)

    This track invites talks and presentations on the Next generation of engineers and the skills they will require to design and operate networks. Talks can include:

    • The role of KeNOG in training Kenya’s future engineers
    • The role of academia and other Stakeholders in capacity building
    • Skills required to future proof engineers
